US Cotronics manufactures reliable encapsulated coil products that are constructed with specially engineered casings that protect the wiring from moisture, contamination, and corrosion. Our custom encapsulated coil solutions include overmolded coils and solenoids, thermoplastic overmolding, and injection-molded encapsulations.

Overmolded and Injection-Molded Solenoids

At US Cotronics, we offer a range of integrated coil solutions crafted with highly durable encapsulation. Our custom encapsulated coils are manufactured using specialized epoxy and/or thermoplastic overmolding processes. The result is a one-piece overmolded coil that is highly modular and extremely resistant to weathering, water, and corrosion.

IP65 Rated Solenoids and Coils

US Cotronics manufactures a wide range of custom encapsulated coil products that are IP65 rated. Our IP65-rated coils and solenoids are over-molded to enhance durability and weather resistance. As with other IP65-rated electronics and components, our encapsulated coil products are waterproof (protected from low-pressure water jets) and protected from dust ingress.

Potted/Cast Coils and Poured Epoxy

Our encapsulated coil products include potted coils and cast coils designed for a range of rugged applications. All of our potted/cast encapsulated coils are manufactured in-house utilizing quality poured epoxies. Our poured epoxy solutions allow us to manufacture highly reliable encapsulated coils that exhibit excellent crack resistance and resist partial discharging.
